- Public television belongs to us, not them. Us – not Civic Platform or the Coalition. Us – meaning the people of Poland – Donald Tusk said in Bydgoszcz. - After winning the elections and forming a new government, we will need exactly 24 hours to turn the PiS government television back into public television – he declared. - Take my word for it, it's only a few weeks away. I won't reveal the details of the recipe we've prepared. We won't need a law, nor President Duda's consent; we have legal mechanisms that will restore social control over public television overnight – he continued. - I want to promise this to you and to myself. Public television, once it becomes public again, will dedicate a lot of time to telling the whole truth about the PiS government's rule – he added.
