Thursday's Political Agenda: PM Morawiecki at V4 Meeting in Brussels, President Duda's Second Day in Italy, Senate Agriculture Committee Discusses "Five for Animals"

A meeting of representatives from the Visegrad Group (V4) with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will take place in Brussels. Prime Minister Morawiecki, who currently holds the presidency of the V4 group, will participate in the meeting.

Thursday marks the second day of the Presidential Couple's visit to Italy. At 11:15 in Rome, a ceremony to unveil a bust of General Władysław Anders is scheduled. Subsequently, at 13:40, the Presidential Couple will participate in ceremonies at the Polish War Cemetery on Monte Cassino. The itinerary also includes a brief tour of the Museum of the Memory of the Polish II Corps by the Presidential Couple.

At 13:45, a wreath-laying ceremony and commemoration event will take place, followed by discussions between the Presidential Couple and local authorities, a visit to the Polish War Cemetery, a meeting with youth from Polish schools in Italy, and a meeting with General Alessandro Veltrim.

At 12:00, the Senate Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development will consider the so-called "Five for Animals," an amendment to the Animal Protection Act. Meanwhile, at 14:30, the Senate Committee on Health will review the bill on the Medical Fund, previously submitted to the Sejm as a presidential proposal.
