- There is no sadness. There is, I would say, perhaps not triumphant optimism, because that would be unwarranted, but many reasons for optimism. Just recall the level of support Rafał Trzaskowski started from, how little time he had to collect signatures, how uneven the rules of the game were, how the entire state apparatus, including the propaganda television, called public but in reality governmental, threw itself into tarnishing him, making him a scoundrel. And all of this together resulted in a narrow victory for the ruling camp.
