Trzaskowski:

Public Television Seems to Be Focused on One Topic, My Program Includes Partnership Unions

I have the impression that public television has recently become a television focused solely on one topic. My program includes partnership unions, whereas today, at a time when the world has turned upside down, as we emerge from a pandemic, if we are discussing social policy and not the chaos that currently exists in Poland, for which the government is responsible, when we don't even know when the epidemic will end because the government isn't informing us, when there are a million unemployed people, that's what we should be focusing on. I travel all over Poland, where the government has left various groups of people to fend for themselves – people in liberal professions, people who rely on tourism, those from border regions, those who work in health resorts – these are the kinds of questions being asked in the debate today. That's what we need to concentrate on, which is why my program includes free nurseries and kindergartens for everyone, because today we need to fight for every job, and that should be the subject of the debate. I have scholarships for gifted youth. Today, we need to level the playing field” – said Civic Coalition candidate Rafał Trzaskowski during the presidential debate on TVP.
