- He has the right [Tomasz Grodzki] to claim he is innocent. Everyone has the right to claim they are innocent. I once visited a prison and the warden told me that all inmates are "innocent" - stated Marek Suski in an interview with Michał Rachoń on the TVP Info program "Jedziemy".

- One can suspect that the Marshal's actions are driven by some personal interests. I'm not sure, I can't read anyone's mind, but I don't know what motivates the Marshal - the PiS politician continued.

- The best defense is offense. He has a good lawyer. They advised him to defend himself in this way: by undermining the credibility of the people who speak about him. It's strange, because these people are not connected to politics. It's many individuals who don't know each other, yet they speak about the Marshal putting 'tokens of gratitude' into his desk drawer, and that these efforts were related to a public hospital - he emphasized.
