At 12:00 PM, in the Presidential Palace, President Andrzej Duda and his wife Agata Kornhauser-Duda will participate in a New Year's meeting with representatives of churches and religious unions, as well as national and ethnic minorities present in Poland.
At 4:00 PM, the Senate Legislative Committee and the Committee on Human Rights, Rule of Law, and Petitions will resume deliberations on the so-called judge discipline bill. The Senate session begins tomorrow, with this bill being the first item on the agenda. If the upper house rejects the PiS proposal or introduces amendments, the Sejm will address them during its session next week, on January 22-23.
Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz will be in Mazovia. The PSL leader will meet with volunteers in Warsaw at 12:00 PM and with residents of Celestynów at 3:30 PM.
At 10:00 AM, a press conference will be held in Warsaw by MPs and activists from the Together Party (Partia Razem) and social activists concerning the fare increases for Koleje Mazowieckie (Mazovian Railways). - The conference will precede the submission of a letter to Marshal Struzik, in which we demand answers to the questions: how high will the fare increases be, which will affect thousands of Mazovia residents commuting to work daily? Why is the introduction of the increases being done in a non-transparent manner? When will residents find out about these changes? - the organizers announce.
