“Today is a special day for Poland, for all of us. Receiving the Nobel Prize is a particular celebration that should also be honored by the Sejm. For this reason, the Civic Coalition caucus has submitted a draft resolution. I hope that at the next session we will jointly adopt a resolution by acclamation, in which we will honor Ms. Olga Tokarczuk and this unique, national celebration” - stated the head of the Civic Coalition caucus, Borys Budka, at a press conference in the Sejm.

“Literature does not need political cheers, but it is also true that today the Nobel Prize for Olga Tokarczuk is certainly a reason for pride for us, a reason to say that Polish literature is appreciated in the world, by readers. She is valued as an excellent ambassador of Polish culture” - added Rafał Grupiński.
