"We have shown with previous announcements that we act swiftly. It's not the case that we postpone work. An announcement was made on Saturday that the minimum wage will increase to 2,600 zloty from next year. This is more than the government initially planned. The proposal presented by the Minister of Family was 2,450 zloty. That's what the government initially accepted as a proposal for talks in the tripartite committee. This is the beginning of a process to raise the minimum wage up to 4,000 zloty within 4 years" – said Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin on Jedynka radio.
