“I have the impression this is some kind of nightmare. Because here we have a government official saying he will now verify final court rulings. He is placing himself above the judiciary. This has nothing to do with the rule of law, nor with the separation of powers, nor with parliamentary democracy. It seems that before our very eyes, we have another date worth remembering, because in the future, when PiS is no longer in power, it will be of significant importance” – said MEP Leszek Miller in an interview with Karolina Lewicka on TOK FM Radio’s Morning Program. 

“This is the kind of cunning you’d hear from a beer stand, having nothing to do with the seriousness of the state, nor with ensuring that established procedures function” – he added.
