- Today, truly speaking about what the future [European] Commission will look like, I think Prime Minister Morawiecki knows best. Predictions that the story concerning the filling of the most important positions in the EC, RE, and EP will end by the end of this week are greatly, I believe, strained, and the chances of knowing who will be the President of the EC, the Head of the RE or EP are very slim, because that agreement is not yet visible on the horizon today - stated Jadwiga Emilewicz in an interview with Piotr Witwicki on the program "Wydarzenia i opinie" on Polsat News.

When asked if she herself could become an EU commissioner, she replied: - Today, I am the Minister of Entrepreneurship. I believe we have several tasks to complete. What is truly important from my perspective, when we talk about the future EC, is the matter of the portfolio that a commissioner from Poland will have. I think there are several important topics that we, as Poland, should have oversight over. This definitely includes energy and climate; these are areas worth striving for in the future [European] Commission.
