Tomasz Szatkowski Nominated Again for Polish Ambassador Position
On April 24th, the Sejm's Foreign Affairs Committee will review the candidacy of Tomasz Szatkowski for the position of Polish Ambassador. This is another attempt – Szatkowski was previously a candidate for the position of Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to NATO, but in February, the same committee negatively opinioned his candidacy by a vote of 7:6. Now, the current Deputy Minister of National Defence is once again applying for the position of Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to NATO. Furthermore, Szatkowski is slated to represent Poland at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague.
