As 300POLITYKA learns, on the first Saturday of next month – April 6th – the European Coalition plans to hold a joint election convention. As our interlocutors emphasize, the individual parties forming the coalition still need to approve their candidates – Platforma will do so this coming Saturday during a meeting of its National Council.

The Peasants have already begun promoting their candidates; Adam Jarubas was presented today, and the presentation of another candidate is scheduled for tomorrow. The SLD, in turn, will approve its lists on March 31st. Earlier, it was rumored that the convention would take place at the turn of March and April, but this morning, Tomasz Siemoniak suggested on Polish Radio that it would occur in the first decade of April.
