Mucha on Franc Loan Holders: This Year's Spring Should See the Bill Passed by Parliament, and These Legal Solutions Should Come into Effect

Michał Olech

- The President is not responsible for the pace of the legislative process. We have legislative initiative, and the President submitted a third draft related to indexed or foreign currency-denominated loans, to the Swiss franc, to other currencies. Once the draft is submitted, the President does not have the tools to influence the Parliament regarding the speed of work. I am pleased that the subcommittee meeting will take place the day after tomorrow, on Thursday. We have agreed, which was also our aim, that this will be substantive work on the bill on the Loan Holder Support Fund in this regard, that we will discuss it provision by provision, we will formulate these provisions, update the state of knowledge, and make any minor corrections if necessary. I know that Chairman Cymański has also made such announcements, that it is his ambition to conclude this work efficiently. Yes, I believe that this year's spring should see a bill passed by the Polish parliament and these legal solutions should come into effect - stated Paweł Mucha in an interview with Jacek Prusinowski on Radio Plus.
