Jaki Presents Housing Program: Option to Purchase Municipal Apartments, New Construction, and Housing Vouchers. 'We Will Build Five Times More Than HGW' “We want to firmly commit to building, on average, five times more apartments annually than the Civic Platform of Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz and Rafał Trzaskowski is building now. This will apply only to older housing stock, where the city anyway lacks funds to invest in these apartments. This city property is subject to regular degradation anyway. We want to propose a 1:1 system – one apartment sold, one newly built for the city. The city can thus gain doubly” - he added. “A housing voucher, meaning a subsidy of PLN 1000 for those who would like to rent an apartment on the commercial market but cannot today due to limited housing resources and therefore cannot use a city apartment. This is a typical offer for the middle class in Warsaw” - proposes Patryk Jaki.
