Hartwich: We Ask Rafalska for Detailed Specification of In-Kind Aid Valued at 520 PLN
- For 30 years, no system of support for people with disabilities has been built. There have been protests, talks, meetings. In reality, today the government is ordering these people with disabilities, who have been protesting for 36 days, to be happy with the increase in social benefits - the 84% increase they received throughout their lives, they were humiliated, this benefit has risen to the lowest ZUS pension. These people will not be happy with this small increase. We are being told to be happy, and these people are being told to be happy with the law signed by the president, the so-called hollow law, which omits various disabilities, and today we wanted to appeal to Minister Rafalska: we ask the Minister for a detailed specification of the in-kind aid, calculated at 520 PLN for people with disabilities, with Down syndrome, the blind, intellectually disabled, autistic individuals, and for the protesting Wiktoria, Magda, Adrian, and Kuba. Will they receive free wheelchairs, which cost from 12 to 20 thousand PLN, will they receive rehabilitation stays twice a year, which are priced in Poland at 6 thousand PLN, or will Minister Rafalska present us with a recruitment of rehabilitation specialists who will rehabilitate our children within this 520 PLN? We very much ask for a quick and detailed specification of this in-kind aid - stated Iwona Hartwich at a briefing in the Sejm.
