- The President has sent a bill to the Sejm to restore the right to a trial and the examination of cases without undue delay - Włodzimierz Czarzasty said at a press conference.

- Because this bill, in the opinion of our lawyers, violates judicial independence and the separation of powers [...] it provides, among other things, for prison sentences of up to 10 years for judges' refusal to participate in a judicial panel, I have decided to conduct broad consultations on this bill and to refer it to the Venice Commission for an opinion - he continued.
